Contest rules

The Followers' Big Prediction

Contest open from 26 August 2026 until kick-off of Union SG – Anderlecht (Sunday 30 August 2026).

Article 1: Organiser

The "Followers' Big Prediction" contest (the "Contest") is organised by B-League, Belgium, reachable at contact@b-league.be (the "Organiser").

The Contest is in no way sponsored, administered, endorsed by or associated with Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram). Any question or complaint must be addressed to the Organiser, not to Meta.

Article 2: Nature of the Contest

The Contest is a contest of skill and sporting knowledge. The winner is determined by the accuracy of their prediction, not by chance.

The Contest is neither a lottery, nor a game of chance, nor a bet. Entry is entirely free and requires no purchase. No money stake is asked for and no monetary prize is awarded.

Article 3: Eligibility

The Contest is open to any natural person aged 18 or over on the day of entry and residing in Belgium.

Persons who took part in organising the Contest, and members of their household, are excluded.

Only one entry per person is allowed. In case of multiple entries, only the chronologically first one is retained.

Article 4: How to enter

To enter, participants must cumulatively: (1) follow the B-League Facebook page or Instagram account, and (2) post a comment under the official Contest publication containing their exact-score prediction for Union Saint-Gilloise – RSC Anderlecht as well as the total number of goals scored on matchday 4 of the championship.

The comment must be posted before kick-off of Union Saint-Gilloise – RSC Anderlecht, scheduled for Sunday 30 August 2026. Comments posted after kick-off are discarded.

Tagging a friend in a comment or sharing the publication to a story is encouraged but is in no way a condition of entry and confers no advantage in determining the winner.

Article 5: Determining the winner

The winner is the participant who predicted the exact score of the match. Failing an exact score, the winner is the participant whose prediction is closest to the final result, closeness being assessed by the sum of the goal differences for each team.

In case of a tie, participants are separated by the tie-breaker question: the total number of goals scored on matchday 4 of the championship. The participant closest to that number wins.

Should a tie persist, the chronologically first comment wins.

The winner is announced on Monday 1 September 2026 on the B-League Facebook and Instagram pages and contacted by private message.

Article 6: Prize

The prize consists of an official jersey of the Belgian first-division club of the winner's choice, in the size of their choice, with an indicative retail value of one hundred euros (€100).

The prize is offered by B-League's partners. It is personal, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be converted into cash.

The winner must communicate club, size and delivery address within fourteen (14) days of notification. After that period, the Organiser reserves the right to designate the next-ranked participant.

Article 7: Personal data

The data provided by the winner (name, delivery address, size) is processed by the Organiser solely for the purpose of delivering the prize, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

It is kept only as long as necessary for that delivery, then deleted. The winner has a right of access, rectification and erasure by writing to contact@b-league.be.

Article 8: Liability and changes

The Organiser cannot be held liable for any malfunction of the Facebook or Instagram platforms preventing a comment from being posted or displayed.

The Organiser reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify or cancel the Contest in case of force majeure, without incurring any liability.

Any comment that is insulting, discriminatory or contrary to public decency is excluded from the Contest.

Article 9: Acceptance and applicable law

Entering the Contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules.

These rules are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
